The Weeknd’s “After Hours” spends a second week at #1 with 138,000 equivalent album units. He blocked 5 Seconds of Summer from reaching #1 with their fourth album “CALM” breaking their streak of #1 albums.
5SOS’s CALM (an acronym of the first letters of the band members’ names) actually made it’s Billboard 200 debuts last week at #68 because Ticketmaster inadvertently sent around 10k CDs to customers prior to the album’s actual release date of March 27 due to a clerical error. 5SOS have been begging Billboard to count those 10k sales for this week so the band could get their 4th #1 album and even got
trending. However, Billboard chose not to do that, causing Calm to just to #2 this week with 133,000 equivalent album units.
Dua Lipa’s “Future Nostalgia” debuted at #4 with 66,000 equivalent album units.
The rest of the top 10 are as follows:
#3 Lil Uzi Vert – Eternal Atake (84k)
#5 Pearl Jam – Gigaton (63k)*
#6 Lil Baby – My Turn (53k)
#7 Bad Bunny – YHLQMDLG (51k)
#8 PartyNextDoor – PartyMobile (50k)*
#9 Roddy Rich – Please Excuse Me (40k)
